Step 1: Pick Your Color!

Get started by choosing your Paint Shop Finish System colors that you want to mix to create your custom color.

Step 2: Buy Paint Shop!

Buy enough Dupli-Color^® Paint Shop to create the color you choose. To paint your vehicle, regardless of size, you'll need approximately 3-5 qts, depending on your spraying technique.

Step 3: Create Your Color!

Mix the quarts of Dupli-Color^® Paint Shop together to create your color. For best results use a paint scale or mixing cup to measure the exact amounts of paint needed for your formula. Take note of the colors used and record how much paint it took to create your color. Make sure to mix more than enough paint for your project.

Step 4: Test Your Color!

Spray out your new color on a test panel before you spray your ride. Tweak your color if needed and spray another test panel until you achieve your desired color.

Step 5: Paint Your Ride!

Dupli-Color^® Paint Shop is a ready-to-spray lacquer system that doesn't require a reducer. Once prep work is complete, prime with 2 coats of BSP100 Gray Primer. Next, lay down 2-3 coats of your custom color. Apply 4-5 coats of BSP300 Clear Coat as the final step before wet sanding and buffing. Make sure to strain all paints using BSP400 Strainer Kit.
